Program names displayed on this site (for example SNAP, Medicaid, WIC, Canada Child Benefit, provincial social assistance) are used for identification only. Final eligibility determinations and benefit amounts are made solely by the administering government agency.
United States — privacy & consumer protection
MomPlan processes personal information in accordance with applicable U.S. federal and state privacy laws, including:
- HIPAA — When we handle protected health information (PHI) as a Business Associate on behalf of covered entities, we maintain safeguards described in our HIPAA Compliance page and execute BAAs where required.
- CCPA / CPRA (California) — California residents may request access, deletion, correction, and opt out of certain data uses. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- State comprehensive privacy laws — We honor rights under Virginia VCDPA, Colorado CPA, Connecticut CTDPA, Utah UCPA, Texas TDPSA, Oregon OCPA, and other applicable state statutes.
- FTC Act — We provide clear disclosures about our services, avoid deceptive marketing, and maintain reasonable data security practices.

United States — accessibility (Section 508 & ADA)
MomPlan is working toward conformance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act for public-facing experiences and partner portals used by government agencies and nonprofits.
Our accessibility program includes keyboard navigation, screen-reader compatibility, sufficient color contrast, focus indicators, and semantic HTML. Government and enterprise customers may request a VPAT (Voluntary Product Accessibility Template) or accessibility conformance report.

United States — security & government partnerships
For agency and enterprise deployments, MomPlan supports:
- AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS 1.2+ in transit
- Role-based access control and audit logging for partner organizations
- Business Associate Agreements (BAAs) where HIPAA applies
- Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) for state and local agencies
- Configurable data retention and export for public-records workflows
- SOC 2 Type II controls (report available under NDA for enterprise customers when available)

Canada — privacy (PIPEDA & provincial laws)
For Canadian users, MomPlan complies with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy legislation, including:
- Quebec — Law 25 (modernized privacy regime): consent, privacy impact assessments, and breach notification obligations
- British Columbia & Alberta — Personal Information Protection Acts (PIPA) where applicable to private-sector handling
- Ontario PHIPA — Where health information is collected in connection with provincial health programs through qualifying partners
We collect only information necessary to assess eligibility and assist with applications. Canadian residents may request access, correction, and deletion subject to legal retention requirements. Our Data Protection Officer can be reached at dpo@momgovassistance.online.
Canada — accessibility (AODA & ACA)
MomPlan aligns with the Accessible Canada Act (ACA) and Ontario Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) by targeting WCAG 2.1 Level AA across our web applications.
We provide accommodation for users who need assistance completing intake forms or uploading documents. French-language support for Quebec users is available upon request for partner deployments; contact compliance@momgovassistance.online.
Canada — benefit program guidance
MomPlan helps Canadian families identify federal and provincial programs such as the Canada Child Benefit (CCB), GST/HST credit, provincial social assistance, childcare subsidies, and housing supports. Program rules vary by province and territory.
We do not file applications on your behalf with Service Canada or provincial ministries unless explicitly offered through a partner organization with your written consent. Always verify requirements on official government websites (e.g., canada.ca, provincial ministry sites).
Data residency & cross-border transfers
MomPlan infrastructure is hosted in the United States (primary) with encrypted backups. For Canadian enterprise customers, we can discuss Canadian data residency options and Standard Contractual Clauses or comparable transfer mechanisms required under PIPEDA and Law 25.
Cross-border data flows are governed by our Privacy Policy and applicable Data Processing Agreements.
